Featuring Vishka Asayesh and Mehraveh Sharifinia, ‘The Badger’ is the challenging story of a 40-year-old woman who is marrying for the second time. Her second marriage brings a lot of new challenges to her private life.

The flick’s cast is completed with Hassan Majouni, Behnoush Bakhtiyari, Reza Behboudi and Gohar Kheirandish.

‘The Badger’ was previously screened at the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) in China.

It is also the winner of a nomination for best film award at the 13th Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival in the US, which will be held on November 5-15.

The Austin Film Festival (AFF), founded in 1994, was called the Austin Heart of Film Screenwriters Conference and functioned to launch the careers of screenwriters who have been underrepresented within the film industry. However, later on it turned into a platform for young and talented writers and filmmakers alike to present their works.

The festival took place online on October 22-29, 2020.
